CONNECTIONS
Join us the for 2023-2024 season
Making music with and for each other is one of the most human activities there is. It isn't always easy to find ways to enjoy the feeling of being part of a shared experience, especially in these times when we seem to become more and more isolated in one way or another.
Maybe you empathize. Maybe you enjoy beautiful experiences. Maybe you simply love singers and singing.
Through music making and community building, Cantata Singers creates opportunities for people of all ages, cultures, and identities to engage with others in ways that uplift, inspire, and help them feel that their stories are being heard.
You can find connection here, and with our 23-24 season, each concert has been designed with that in mind. Connect with live music, with real people, at Cantata Singers.

Community Programs
Classroom Cantatas
Cantata Singers has valued underrepresented music since its inception—be it performing works by lesser-known composers, commissioning new music, or bringing vitally-needed music education to Boston’s school children through the Classroom Cantatas program. Classroom Cantatas is unique in its commitment to creation over imitation. Instead of teaching children to reproduce the music and styles of another time and tradition, Classroom Cantatas gives students the tools to create and express themselves using their own musical voices.
Lullaby Project
The Lullaby Project, a free program, pairs pregnant women and new parents with teaching artists to write and sing personal lullabies for their babies, supporting maternal health, aiding childhood development, and strengthening the bond between parent and child. This is a partnership between Cantata Singers, Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. For information or inquiries, contact Lydia Consilvio at lconsilvio@cantatasingers.org.
What the audience is saying:
